Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Nakhchivan State University (NSU) and Institute of Soil Elm and Agrochemistry signed memorandum of understanding in the fields of staff training, and organization of production on scientific basis.

Making speech in the event rector of NSU, corresponding member of ANAS Saleh Maharramov stated that, memorandum will pave the way for strengthening the ties between two enterprises and implementing academic projects.

Director of the Institute of Soil Elm and Agrochemistry, Dr. Agrarian sciences, prof. Alovsat Guliyev noted that, institute directs application of latest outputs to the production by carrying out agrochemical researches. These outputs lead to fighting ways against salinity and irrigation erosion in various fields of agriculture, restoring soil fertility, giving the fertilizer in norms, and extracting environmentally friendly agricultural products.

Noted that, the purpose of signing the contract in partnership with NSU is to attract a high degree of scientific staff in training and to create conditions for undergraduates benefit from the base of the Institute of Soil Elm and Agrochemistry.
