Training and Surgical Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University hosted the meeting of Council for Medical Problems on June 2.

Opening the meeting, chairman of Council, corresponding member of ANAS Nuru Bayramov informed attendees on questions of the agenda and told about a number of the resolutions concerning the medical sphere adopted within meetings of ANAS Presidium at the General meeting of Academy.

Also were mentioned a number of questions, connected with planning, establishment of structure, and also definition of the general direction of research works.

He also told about the research works which are carried out in scientific institutions about the priority scientific areas which are important for social and economic development of the republic.

The scientist told about revolutionary achievements in the field of medicine in the modern world, emphasized that our country also has achieved rapid development in this area.

In recent years in Azerbaijan, in particular at ANAS the special attention is focused on carrying out research works in the field of medicine according to the international standards.

Speaking about research priorities in the field of medicine, the scientist noted that here may include stem cells, molecular biology and medicine, computer technologies, e-health, medical technology, etc.

Then N.Bayramov gave information about the structure of the annotations to the thesis. He said that in this context must be approved by a single form and sent to all medical research institutions.

He said that, if the thesis will not pass the examination in the Problem Council for Medicine, they will not be approved by the Higher Attestation Commission.

Attended at the event members of Problem Council, scientists, researchers and medical specialists exchanged views on the coordination of research institutes in Azerbaijan, preparation of electronic forms of annotations for research projects.

It was noted that, in June or September of the current year will take place the joint meeting of ANAS Institute of Information Technology with the members of Problem Council for Medicine.

On the meeting will take place the exchange of opinions concerning innovations in the field of health care, the conducted researches and implementation of joint projects with the relevant medical institutions.
