As you know, by the Order of the President of the country 2015 has been declared "Year of Agriculture" in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In order to promote the development of agriculture and accelerate the modernization, providing a scientific approach to solving the existing problems in the agricultural sector, increasing the impact of science in the field of agricultural development, implementation of innovative projects that meet modern requirements, providing export potential in the agricultural sector, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences realized related activities.

One of the works in this direction is the cultivation of high-quality agricultural products in the strongholds of ANAS.

June 11, delegation from ANAS Presidium Department of General Affairs examined an area of 50 hectares of wheat fields, located in the territory of Kurdamir.

On each hectare will collect 30-35 quintals of agricultural products, which have been cultivated in accordance with the necessary agro-technical rules.
