Doctor of physical sciences Ogtay Samadov was appointed the Acting Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS during the previous meeting of the Presidium of ANAS on 24 June 2015.

By another decree, director of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS, academician Adil Garibov was dismissed from his post at his own request.
