Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry after M.Nagiev of ANAS will create the international laboratory titled "Basic research in the field of synthesis and the usage of catalysts based on nano carbonic materials received from caustobiolites of the petroleum series (INTERLABCAT)”.
Academician-secretary of Department of Chemical Sciences, director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry (ICIC), academician Dilgam Tagiyev noted that, in order to carry out joint research in the field of nano-materials production of carboxylic caustobiolites petroleum series and their use as catalysts in the oxidation of hydrocarbons, institute cooperates with the Technical University of Berlin, Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (BNAS) and University of Huddersfield (UK).
Academician noted that participants of the international laboratory interested in developing the foundations of the production of carboxylic nano-materials from petroleum feedstock, holding their full metrological certification, fictionalization, analyze them by means of modern physical and chemical methods of research, as well as the use of materials obtained of nano-carbonic in oxidation processes.
It was noted that, joint researches with Technical University of Berlin, Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer of University will be devoted to synthesis of nano-carbonic materials, their analytical identification, description and also to functionality and application.
Laboratory INTERLABCAT will create an opportunity for the realization of an international research program to obtain a number of oil nano-carbonic catalysts and their usage. Academician noted that due to activity of the laboratory is planned to introduce new provisions and fundamental results.
