Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

By the decision of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's order dated July 15, 2015, Elm TV’s head, sector chief of the Institute of Information Technology Khatira Jabbarzadeh was awarded with "Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

Head of ANAS Internet-TV was awarded to honorary prize for her merits in development of mass media in Azerbaijan. The award was submitted by social and political affairs assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov in the ceremony devoted to 140th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press in Gulustan Palace.

Ceremony bringing together government officials, MPs, representatives of the mass media began with a national anthem.

Later on, film was shown about the history of the development of Azerbaijan national press.

After awarding celebrate media representatives, winners of the contest carried out by State Support Foundation for Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic dubbed "The media richly elucidating the 1st European Games” were awarded. Supreme Media Award of Azerbaijan Press Council was presented.

Then, journalists who won the first place in the individual writing contest announced by State Support Foundation for Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of July 22 - National Press Day, were submitted prizes.

The event ended with a concert.
