Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova received a letter of congratulation from the president of the Moldova Academy of Sciences to the participants of 47th International Chemistry Olympiad which for the first time held in Baku.

President of the Moldova Academy of Sciences Academician Doctor of chemistry Professor George Duka with pleasure notes on letter that, decision on conducting 47th International Chemistry Olympiad in Azerbaijan, Baku Branch of Moscow State University, was adopted in Washington in 2012 by International jury of the 44th Olympiad. In 2014, at the closing ceremony of the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad in the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi, flag of competition was given to Azerbaijan - organizer of the 47th Olympiad, Baku Branch of Moscow State University. After Russia, Azerbaijan is the second country in the CIS that won the right to host the International Chemistry Olympiad of students.

Letter highlights the deeds done by Chancellor of MSU Baku Brach corresponding member of ANAS Prof. Nargis Pashayeva as well.

Academician G. Duka expressed his gratitude to corresponding member of ANAS Nargis Pashayeva for organizing and conducting this large scaled event and noted her awarding with diploma of Moldova AS.
