Monograph co-authored by Deputy Director of the Institute of Geography of ANAS, correspondent member of ANAS Elbrus Alizadeh and employee of the institute, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Stara Tarikhazer titled as "Eco geomorphological danger and risk of the Greater Caucasus (within Azerbaijan)" was released at the publishing house "MAXPRESS" of the Moscow State University.

The new edition widely covered eco morphological problems associated with the development of dangerous natural and anthropogenic geomorphological processes in the Greater Caucasus, their assessment and management of emerging risks, conducted eco morphological zoning investigated in connection with the threats and risks of territory. The work examines the origins, dynamics, distribution area of ​​landslides, mudslides, and other dangerous geomorphological processes, focusing on the effects of anthropogenic pressure on eco morphosystem and its result, the transformation of modern landscape-geomorphological geosystems. In the face of rising threats and risks are analyzed problems of research of sustainable development of mountain geosystems through modern methods.

The book is intended for specialists in the field of geomorphology, geology, eco morphology, landscape study, including researchers interested in the development of upland areas, as well as teachers and students of higher educational institutions.
