Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Presentation ceremony of “Cultural order of Muhammadhuseyn Shahriyar” was held in Tabriz, the capital of Iran Islamic Republic, on September 15.

International event brought together literary critics, lovers and researchers of Shahriyar’s creativity from Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

In the opening ceremony, Chancellor of Tabriz University Mohammadrza Purmuhammadi, Head of the Research Center of Azerbaijan studies Ahmad Farshbafian and others spoke about the life and work of master Shahriyar. It was noted that, his creativity has left deep scars not only in Iran but also in abroad.

After speeches notable scientists researching poet’s creativity were submitted “Cultural order of Muhammadhuseyn Shahriyar”.

Vice-President of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature Academician Isa Habibbayli and corresponding member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev were submitted “Cultural order of Muhammadhuseyn Shahriyar” for widely coverage Shahriyar’s creativity in their academic studies.

Being grateful for Highest Premium Isa Habibbayli noted that, M. Shahriyar lives not only in hearts of separate individuals but also in all peoples.

After presentation ceremony, event was followed by a cultural program.

Event was attended by Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Tabriz Ali Alizadeh and Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsun Pakayin as well.
