Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Department of Agrarian Sciences (DAS) of ANAS held next meeting at the Presidium of ANAS on September 30.

Opening the meeting with participation of bureau members, Academician-secretary of the DAS, Academician Garib Mammadov brought to mind done preparatory works by the institutes of department in connection with 70th anniversary of ANAS.

It was noted that, Order has been signed by AR President Ilham Aliyev on celebrating 70th anniversary of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences which had played vital role in history of social thought and social progress of Azerbaijan people, and  AR The Cabinet of Ministers has endorsed “Action Plan on celebrating 70th anniversary of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences” with the execution of the Order. Plan conducts implementing of important events for preparing to the jubilee, publishing of several books, and establishing Editorial Board and Working group by the order of ANAS Presidium.

Later on, materials prepared by the department institutes for jubilee exhibition were reviewed.

Head of the Division of Relations with International Organizations of the Department of International Relations, exhibition manager, PhD in History Nurida Guliyeva provided detailed information on the scientific ventures to be joined to the exhibition and their preparation process, gave her proposals and recommendations on the displayed proceedings.

In the event, discussions were held on approval of tests conducted for institutes due to admission to doctoral studies and exams in ANAS as well.
