“The real history and fiction of “Great Armenia” book released in English

"The real history and fiction of "Great Armenia" book by Director of the Institute of History, correspondent member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov was published in English by the Azerbaijani historians Public Association with the financial support of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Scientific editor of the new edition is PhD in history Allahverdi Alimirzeyev, Mehri Khanbabayeva technical editor and translator Sabina Almammadova.

The book is based on primary sources which prove that, Armenians moved from the Balkans to Asia Minor, their ethnic origin is relative with ancient frigians and they are not aboriginal population of Asian continent. It was proved that, modern Armenians have emerged the names of Armenians (Hays), "armyane", "Armenian" later, - after moving to Eastern Anatolia. There is never had been a state dubbed "Great Armenia". The notion of "Great Armenia" has been contrived by the Armenian falsifiers with the goal to adapt the territories of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.

The first chapter of the book is named "Armenians have moved to Asia Minor from the Balkans" and this chapter is a sharp response to the Armenians allegations for Urartu legacy. The book gives a separate section dedicated to the geographical concept of "Armenian plateau" ("Armyanskoye naqorye"). In this section, the author writes that history falsifiers have included so-called geographical sense -"Armenian plateau" ("Armyanskoye naqorye"), to a scientific turnover since the end of XIX century. Final chapter of the work was devoted to the proven of the absence of "Great Armenia" in the history.
