Members of the Council of young scientists and specialists of ANAS met with the talented students of the Lyceum named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

The director of the Lyceum, honored teacher, PhD in philology Mehriban Valiyeva, welcoming the young scientists said that the main purpose of the Lyceum is to create conditions for the integration of our young people with creative and logical thinking, in the world scientific space. It was noted that at the Lyceum educational activities and effective approaches to the process of education are based on the techniques and technologies that meet modern requirements. The teaching of basic and applied knowledge create the conditions for the research orientation of the educational process in different ways reveals the talent of students, and a wider range of extracurricular activities.

It was noted that for this purpose at the Lyceum created "Small Academy" of talented students. Members of the Academy, to participate actively in scientific competition "Scientists of the Future", held annually by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic is the winner in mathematics, chemistry, physics and other subjects. Talented students also represent our country in international competitions.

Lyceum Director noted that the main objective of cooperation with ANAS is to develop the scientific knowledge of students and achieve a successful outcome.

Chairman of the Council of young scientists and specialists of ANAS, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov, first of all, described the activities of the structure headed by him. He noted that one of the main recommendations of the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh with the creation of the Council was to draw into science gifted students of secondary and higher educational institutions. He noted that from this point of view, the establishment of cooperation with the Lyceum named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva is important.

Chairman of the Council, invited the students participating in competitions in various subjects, the institutions of ANAS to review the priority areas of their interest. He said that scientific ideas students will be designed and the National Academy of Sciences, they will be supported to participate in international competitions.

Then the members of the Council of young scientists and specialists of ANAS - PhDs in chemistry, Faig Mammadov, Afsun Sujayev, PhD in physics Suma Huseynova, PhD in agricultural sciences Izzet Talibov responded questions of the students.

In high school, young scientists are also familiarized with the conditions created for the students.
