On October 26, 2015, at 12am, was held event devoted to 133rd anniversary of genius dramatist Huseyn Javid, which traditionally established by national leader Heydar Aliyev. Event co-organized by ANAS Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat and Baku city Yasamal district Executive Power, in front of the monument erected in the Huseyn Javid’s park. Opening the event head of Yasamal district Executive Power Ibrahim Mehdiyev informed about way of life, creativity, rich literary heritage of dramatist. Academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Humanitarian Sciences, Acad. Teymur Karimli spoke about his exceptional merits in Azerbaijan drama. Javid lover, chairman of New Azerbaijan Party Yasamal district Tagi Ahmadov shared his memories about The Javids.
Later on, Hamid Jafarov, who chaired for importing process of Huseyn Javid’s corpse to native land, spoke about difficulties faced by. People Artists Malakhanum Ayyubova, Masum Ibrahimov, Honored Artist Nuriyye Huseynova performed songs composed to poems of Huseyn Javid in the event. Teachers of Azerbaijan University of Art and Culture – Javid lovers Azad Shukurov sounded Demon’s monologue from “Iblis (Demon)” work of dramatist, while Maleyke Aligizi sounded his “Gormadim” gazel.
In closing, director of the museum, Dr. Philology Gulbaniz Babakhanli greeted the guests, then noted that, each year Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat prepares gifts for his birthday. This year, last 3 volume of “Azerbaijan non-material cultural monuments and Artogrul Javid” multi volume which published based on manuscripts stored in the personal archive of Artogrul Javid in the museum and embracing great national issues and released on October 22 – on the Artogrul Javid’s birthday, is a gift to our culture by museum staff. “Balaman school” which takes place in the book is a manual designed by Azerbaijan musicologist Saleh Abdulalimov for music schools. Although manual was developed in 1937, it has not been released as a result of “Armenian effort” which affected to all spheres of social life at those times, and original version of the work has been stored in the personal archive of Artogrul Javid for long years. Having bright talent and high intelligence, Artogrul Javid translated the Russian preface of “Balaman school” into native language, closely engaged in development of materials concerning to manual, including collecting and preparing of assembly protocols. Maintaining the original manual up to our age is a merit of Artogrol Javid, she noted. Finally, G. Babakhanli added that Artogrul Javid’s activity in Azerbaijan culture has been reflected in previous volumes of “Azerbaijan non-material cultural monuments and Artogrul Javid” multi volume.
