Newly, “Advances in Environmental Research” book was published in the scientific publishing house “Nova” in the U.S

Innovations of the researches which carried out in the field of environment studying in the leading countries of the world are reflected in the book.

Chapter "Wheat Rusts in Azerbaijan: Effective Genes for Resistance" (Advances in Environmental Research, 2015, Volume 44, p. 193-220), co-authored by Academicians Jalal Aliyev, Irada Huseynova, PhD in Biology Samir Rustamov and Farid Guliyev, is dedicated to a very important problem for Azerbaijan - the study of rusts in wheat plants and the identification of effective disease-resistant genes.

Currently, rusts are dangerous diseases that reduce productivity and product quality throughout the world. Therefore for the purpose of to fight against rusts are carried out the research works on identification of steady genes for creation of steady grades of pathogens and usage of their efficiency in various geographical regions of the world.

It should be noted that as a result of studies the SNP (Single nucleotide polymorphism) / MLG (Multi Lokus genotypes)it was determined that most fungus samples f Puccinia graminis f. sp. Tritici (Pgt), catch only wheat genotypes collected in 2014-2015 from different regions of Azerbaijan, are representatives of the new science group of diseases.
