Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Chief Scientific secretary of the National Academy of Sciences, Academician Alexander Vladimirovich Kilchevsky who has taken part in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of ANAS visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of ANAS.

Director of the Institute, Academician Irada Huseynova gave detailed information about the newly created Institute, its structure, carried out research projects, achievements and the training of personnel. Noted that, a new direction of biological science in Azerbaijan and their development bases are connected with the name of Academician Jalal Aliyev.

Further, Scientific Secretary acquainted with the laboratories functioning at the Department of fundamental problems of biological productivity and met with employees. A.V.Kilchevsky highly appreciated the personnel potential and printed materials.

Taking part at the seminar of the Institute A.V.Kilchevsky spoke on "Development of genomic biotechnology in Belarus". Report conducts information about fundamental basis of genomic biotechnology - protection of selection, medicine, pharmacology, sport and environment.

Academician gave detailed information on the specified directions, questions were responded and shared the opinions on actual problems with the staff of institute.
