Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Leading anthropologist-researcher of U.S. Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, director of Asia's cultural history program Poll Taylor visited the museum of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography in Icherisheher with a group of scientist and specialists.

In a meeting, director of the institute, Prof. Maisa Rahimova informed the guest on care and attention by national leader Heydar Aliyev and his decent successor, President Ilham Aliyev to archeology and ethnography of Azerbaijan.

Guests got acquainted with exhibits reflecting ancient, rich history of our nation. They were told about latest achievements of Azerbaijani archeologists.

Later on, American specialists held exchange of cooperation with their Azerbaijani colleagues.
