"Shahriyar and our contemporary life" new book by well-known orientalist and translator, Head of Department of Iranian Philology of the Institute of Oriental Studies, PhD in philology Masiagha Mahammad was published.

New edition includes the articles written dedicated to the work of the great poet Shahriyar Muhammedhuseyn (1906-1988), including philological translation of large-scale poem of the poet dedicated to Movlana Jalal ad-Din Rumi from Persian.

The book reveals the main aspects of the philosophical attitude of Shahriyar, peculiar views about the nature and character of the modern era, established the factors that determine its crucial role in Iranian poetry of the XX century.

The editor of the book is well-known critic and literary critic Gurban Bayramov stressed the scientific and literary value of studies of the poet, noted separately unique approach Masiaga Mahmammadi to the subject of study in his preface "A new look at the poetry of Shahriyar".

Book is intended for the orientalists and literary critics, as well as for a wide range of readers interested by the poetry Shahriyar.
