Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Polymer Materials, Academician Akif Azizov held the first exemplary lesson at the Baku Technical and Humanitarian Lyceum on December 10. Exemplary lessons were organized in accordance with the initiative, launched in connection with the "From science to education" target program by Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov at the ceremony devoted to the 70th anniversary of ANAS.

According to the agreement between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences lessons will be conducted by known scientists.

At the chemical laboratory of Technical and humanitarian lyceum Academician Akif Azizov held the exemplary lesson in chemistry responded the questions of the students of 9th form. Akif Azizov emphasized the role of the chemical industry in the national economy and the prospects of this sector on a global scale.

Akif Azizov spoke about the integration of science and education in the country and noted the importance of the target program "From science to education". Academician emphasized the importance of raising interest students in science, the unity of science and education, training of scientific personnel with a high degree of scientific knowledge.
