On December 11, “Caspian Plaza” business center held workshop “CRDF Global Baku”.

Deputy chief of International relations department of ANAS Presidium Administration Zarifa Aliyeva, head specialist Firuza Khalilova and Dr. T. Babayev, national representative of ICT&FET NCP HORİZON in Azerbaijan, director of RİTA, head of “International Relations and Innovation” department of the Institute of Control Systems were attended the workshop.

T. Babayev made a presentation on HORİZON2020 “Opportunities presented for researchers of different countries to participate in European research projects” at the workshop. In the first part of the presentation, information was given on the history and aims of EU framework programs from 1984 to the present. The second part of the presentation was devoted to detailed information on Horizon2020, its structure, main areas and topics. The third part dealt with the participation in the program: search and selection of subjects, preparation of project proposals, evaluation of submitted project proposals, etc.

During the discussion that followed the presentation, Dr. T. Babayev responded the interested participants' several questions.
