Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Head of Public Relations, Press and Information Department of the Presidium Administration of ANAS, PhD in Philology Agahuseyn Shukurov delivered a report themed “Azerbaijani-Kazakh Literary Relations” at the international scientific conference titled “From the Caspian Sea to China: literature, technology, and social life” held in Shijiazhuang city of Hebei Province of the People's Republic of China.

The report was simultaneously translated into Chinese by the Chinese doctoral student Sun Dandan.

The report of the Azerbaijani scientist was met with interest at the sub- forum titled "The Caspian Sea-Central Asia-China: Language and Literature" moderated by an employee of the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Li Xiang. Commentator of the meeting, teacher of Tianjin Urban Planning University, Professor Yao Chunlin highly appreciated the report and highlighted the importance of expanding the research of Kazakh literature in China as well.

It should be mentioned that the international scientific conference organized by the Hebei Normal University gathered together scientists not only from China and Azerbaijan but also from Great Britain, the USA, Russia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries.

Azerbaijan was represented at the international scientific conference by a delegation headed by the president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli.
