ANAS Department of Physical-Mathematical and Technical Sciences presented the annual report at the Institute of Information Technology on December 25. Opening the annual meeting Academician-secretary of the department director of the Institute of Physics, corresponding member of ANAS Nazim Mammadov informed on the issues of agenda.

Then Acting Director of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, Professor Namig Jalilo, presenting the annual report of this scientific venture said that this year were conducted 25 research works on 8 themes 2 problems.

Speaking in connection with the annual report on the activities of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS in 2015, Director of the Institute, Academician Telman Aliyev noted that this year was published 2 monographs, 4 books and a textbook, 331 scientific papers (124-abroad) 203 articles. He added that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the institute organized the event.

Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Professor Misir Mardanov, presenting the annual report of the institute, said that the Institute conducted 137 research projects, covering 16 topics. He added that during 2015 the employees of the Institute published 416 scientific papers and 118 articles abroad.

Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oktay Samadov noted in his speech that in 2015, conducted 21 scientific-research works on 11 themes 4 problems.

Speaking in connection with the report on the activities of the Institute of Information Technology, Director of the Institute, Academician-secretary of ANAS, Academician Rasim Alguliyev noted that during the current year, employees of the institute have conducted a number of research works in the field of information security, cloud technology, biometrics, information community, Data mining technology and Big Data, problems of e-medicine and science, e-economy, etc. The achieved results have been published in prestigious journals of the world with impact factor.

He noted that the new unit has been introduced to calculate the content of texts in the vicinity of the auto synopsising documents, as well as have been proposed multi-criteria optimization models, creating an opportunity to choose from the offer document, which have semantic weight. Due to solve the optimization models developed algorithms.

Director of the Institute said that for the purpose of modeling and intelligent control of micro and macro levels and demanding recommender relations in the market of IT professionals on the basis of fuzzy analysis of situations, knowledge of the scale of images and fuzzy logic, were developed algorithms and methods for assessing the level of imbalance.

This year, the Institute developed the algorithms and methods for the synthesis of cloud services in a networked environment, fuzzy cognitive model to ensure strategic management of information security of e-government, an effective modification of the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to VICOR staff.

Academician also informed on participation of the Institute in the framework of scientific and innovation projects, editorial boards of prestigious journals in the world, the program committees of international conferences, representative and scientific expertise, finance government programs, funds of knowledge under the President of Azerbaijan and the Scientific Foundation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.

The scientist also mentioned the organization of entrance exams for doctoral and doctoral exams, exams in philosophy and minimum exams on the basis of the test method in Educational Innovation Center of ANAS, as well as teaching general subjects masters of ANAS and the subject of computer science doctoral students and candidates of the republic.

R. Alguliyev told about the organization in the current year shows "scientific achievements", "ANAS 70" devoted to the 70th anniversary of ANAS, info ehxbitions on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the International Telecommunication Union, the establishment of information systems for different purposes, the establishment and operation of the Internet TV "Elm-TV", etc.

It was stressed that the institute has established international research collaborative links with more than 50 countries and 100 organizations, and a provider of network services to research and educational institutions organization GEANT. It was noted that the Institute has been actively involved in establishing a regional research and education network covering the country's "Eastern Partnership" project EaPConnect.

According to the scientist, during the reporting year, the staff of the Institute participated in international and national conferences, with 89 reports, also published 108 articles in various scientific journals. Additionally, the Institute has published 7 books and 6 express information.

R.Alguliyev also gave information about the work done in the field of strengthening of material-technical base of the institute.

By the end of the event, the deputy director of the Institute of Physics of ANAS, Academician Javad Abdinov, presenting the annual report, noted that in the reporting year, employees of the institute was conducted 40 research works on 8 themes in 3 directions. 528 scientific papers, including 394 - abroad, 181 articles were published in journals with high impact factor, and 110 - in the media of the country.
