On December 25, Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry on behalf of M.Nagiyev held general meeting of ANAS Department of Chemical Sciences.
The meeting devoted to the report on scientific and scientific-organizational activities of DCS in 2015, attended by the leadership of scientific institutions and organizations of the department, the performers and the important results of the respective organizations. Opening the event Academician-secretary of department, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev spoke about the matters on the agenda and noted that the general session will discuss the activities of the 4 institutions in this year.
Then director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, Academician Vagif Abbasov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, corresponding member of ANAS Mahammad Babanly, director of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives, Academician Vagif Farzaliyev and director of the Institute of Polymer Materials, Academician Akif Azizov presented their reports on scientific and organizational activities of the institutions led by him in 2015.
It was noted that this year the department published 14 books and monographs and 450 articles (210 - abroad 131 - in journals of impact factor), 684 theses (275 - abroad). In the published works department employees was cited about 650 references. In addition, the institute employees were awarded approximately 20 grants of Scientific Foundation of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and Science Development Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan Republic. This year, the department has been achieved 18 important results, 8 papers were used or recommended for use.
Academician-secretary of department, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev, Academician Adil Garibov and others in their speeches praised the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, chemical additives, Poymer Materials, Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry in 2015.
