Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Successfully goes on cooperation between ANAS and mass media due to promote and popularize science.

These words were spoken by the president of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh at the awarding ceremony of thanks letters to employees of ANAS for achievements in the development of science and media. Head of ANAS stressed the importance of the role of media, bringing to the public large-scale reforms held in Academy, as well as scientific and mass assemblies, meetings and other events. Academician noted that, ANAS highly appreciates activity of the press and is interested in even large development of the fruitful relations with media.

At the event, a group of employees of ANAS were awarded by thanks letters for their services in the organization of scientific and practical conference entitled "Science and mass media: multidisciplinary directions and perspectives" and Summer School "Science Activity-2015", organized by the Department of Public Relations and science popularization of ANAS Administration Presidium and by the Azerbaijan Press Council on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the national press.

In closing, head of Department of Public Relations and science popularization Zulfugar Farzaliyev expressed the gratitude to the Academician Akif Alizadeh for his attention, which he always pays to activity of management.
