Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The 10th Baku International Book Fair continues its work at the Baku Expo Center with the organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Fair is dedicated to the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Muhammad Fuzuli.

The fair brought together 47 foreign organizations from 19 countries, as well as over 100 local publishing houses and enterprises operating in the field of printing and book art.

Central Scientific Library (CSL) of ANAS is represented in the 10th Baku International Book Fair with its publications.

Director of CSL, docent Huseyn Huseynov and the staff of the institution actively participate in various platforms as well as presentations in the fair. The director of CSL donated books to the “Culture Volunteers” Public Union to be presented to the exhibition to be held in Jabrayil city on October 4, in connection with the anniversary of the liberation of Jabrayil city from the occupation of the Armenian Armed Forces.

Books, monographs, bibliographies and other various valuable publications released throughout 2024 are displayed in the stand by the Central Scientific Library.

It should be noted that the “CSL Volunteers”, started their activities in September of this year, also warmly welcome the visitors addressing the  Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences’ stand and provide comprehensive information about the publications.
