The presentation of the book “Mahammad Fuzuli: The Philosophical Heritage of the Poet and Thinker” by doctor of philological sciences Farida Azizova, head of the Department of Medieval Azerbaijani Literature of the Institute of Literature of ANAS named after Nizami Ganjavi was held. The presentation ceremony took place in the “Fuzuli” presentation zone at the 10th Baku International Book Fair, dedicated to the 530th anniversary of Mahammad Fuzuli.

During his opening speech, the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli gave information about the “Fuzuli Library” series published by the Institute of Literature. He mentioned that this research by Farida Azizova filled a gap in Fuzuli studies. “The work of the poet “Matla'ul İtikad” have not been studied until now. This was due to the fact that the work was written in Arabic”-said the Academician.

The author of the book, doctor of philological sciences Farida Azizova informed the participants about her research.

The director of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS named after Mahammad Fuzuli, Academician Teymur Karimli, deputy director for scientific affairs of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, doctor of historical sciences Eynulla Madatli  and PR manager of “TEAS Press” Publishing House and “LIBRAFF” bookstores, Sarxan Rustamov made speeches at the event and highlighted the scientific significance of the book.
