Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

It is known that April 9, 2014 the Presidium of ANAS aired a competition for the selection and funding of research programs to address urgent and technological problems. It was selected and recommended for funding some programs submitted to the competition.

January 19, President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh met with managers of the research programs realized in the scientific institutions of the Academy funded by the Presidium of ANAS and Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan Republic. Speaking at the event, Academician Akif Alizadeh told about the changes made to the funding mechanism for research projects. Reported about funding 37 research projects in 2015 at the Academy, scientist spoke about the timing of prescribed drugs and priority scientific direction of the project.

President of the Academy noted that declared by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, competition research programs will give impetus to further expansion of research in various fields of science.

At a meeting of program managers in their accounting statements expressed the views and proposals for research projects.
