On January 22, Presidium of ANAS held general meeting of the Departments of Humanitarian and Social Sciences.

Opening the meeting Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibayli said that, agenda of meeting compiles discussion of admission results to PhD and doctoral training in the institutes of both departments for 2015-2016 academic year. Reminding ANAS President Acad. Akif Alizadeh’s order “on conducting doctorate and doctoral exams based on testing technologies in ANAS” dated June 9, 2015, he stated that testing technology was applied for the first time in Academy and reforms carried out concerning doctorate exams had positive results.

Thesis topics of the doctorates were discussed, exchange of view was held on the topics and suggestions put forward.

Meeting discussed research projects “The formation of scientific terminology in modern Azerbaijani literary language and development directions of the language vocabulary”, "Azerbaijanism ideology: tradition and modernity", "Measuring methodology of state economic regulation and classification of economic development models”, “Analyzing the indicators of stable development concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan through using Neuro-Fuzzy methods” and "Modeling of macro-economic stability in terms of devaluation of national currency”.
