Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Annual report of ANAS Department of Agrarian Sciences for 2013 was held at Presidium of ANAS.

The events were attended by directory of scientific institutions and organizations, executors of vital results over the department, and delegates of related bodies. Opening the event academician-secretary of the department, acad.Garib Mammadov told about the essence of State Programs approved on development of agrarian science in Azerbaijan.

According to the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, with the goal of protecting the safety of food in the country, 408 hectares of land was allocated for grain in Aghjabadi and Beylagan, created a pilot farm, he noted.
