Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Central Scientific Library (CSL) began for public outreach of collections stored in the book funds. Round table organized in CSL has discussed presentation of Active member of Hungarian Academy of Sciences Georg Hazai’s personal collection, stored in Eastern Literature fund of the library.

Director of CSL, PhD in medicine Leyla Imanova noted that, there are numerous personal collections in the funds of the library, chain of events will be conducted on their presentations, including implemented electron cataloging of collections within project of cataloging.

Chief of the Eastern Literature Fund Aida Huseynova informed about personal collections of world-famous orientalist –scientists, gathered through international exchange, donations in the fund over the years, and maintained thousands of valuable books.

Note that, G.Hazai’s personal collection has been developed, published and exhibited. Employees, who engaged in study and cataloging of scientist’s collection highlighted deep enamors of Hungarian scientist G.Hazai, who devoted all his life to the study and performance of the Turkic world, in Eastern World.
