Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Today, Presidium of ANAS held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Azerbaija Mr. Marek Tsalkani.

The main aim of the meeting of two countries was to discuss prospects of cooperation between the institutions and organizations.

First of all, the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh greeted the guest. He noted about 75th anniversary of ANAS held in last November and also spoke about reforms, innovative projects carried out in current years at the Academy. Gave detailed information about investigations carried out in priority-scientific directions.

Then the Ambassador of Poland M.Tsalkani reported that, they are interested to establishing cooperation with relevant organizations of ANAS.

He noted that, the conduct of joint research, conferences and seminars, exchange of experience, personnel and scientists of both countries play a major role in the most important scientific achievements.

Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev spoke about his visit to Poland, where are developed both science and education, as well as other areas, noted that, benefiting from experiences of this country would be useful for us.

Then, Ambassador M.Tsalkani gave information about the exhibition to be held at the International Mugam Center on 20 April.

Then, Ambassador of Poland invited ANAS delegation to participate in exhibition.
