Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi held the exhibition "Novruz", consisting of manual work of the Institute of Architecture and Art on March 18 at Electronic Assembly hall.

At the opening ceremony Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that, in our country and Academy was held a series of events dedicated to the Novruz holiday.

It was noted that, for the third year at ANAS are organized the exhibition of handcraft covering various themes.

It is planned to hold such events annually. Today's exhibition shows paintings by employees of the Institute of Architecture and Art, reflecting the attributes of Novruz, which is one of the ancient holidays of our people.

Other speakers also noted the importance of the exhibition, spoke about the ancient traditions of Novruz holiday.

At the exhibition 22 works of six employees of the institute were demonstrated.
