Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Associates of the State Astronomy Institute attached to Moscow State University on behalf M.V.Lomonosov PhDs in physics-math – V.Oknyansky and B.Artamonov were on a scientific trip to Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory of ANAS.

Guests have observed selected galaxies by means of 2m-long telescope of the scientific venture for three nights. Being satisfied with the quality of the materials obtained from telescopes of the observatory, the guests stressed the importance of continuing cooperation in the future.

In addition, Russian scientists made presentation on topics "The curtain is still open: NGC 2617 remains in a high state" and "Gravitational lenses" for staff of the Observatory.
