On April 20 at the regular meeting of the Presidium of ANAS was made a report on the implementation of the "National Strategy on Science Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2015."

President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh noted that that, State Program for implementation of the approved order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev on May 4, 2009 the "National Strategy on Science Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2015” has expired. Having said that the ordinance coordinating body of the National Strategy and State Program was appointed ANAS, Academician stressed that in carrying out the tasks reflected in the document was attended a number of ministries and government agencies, and departments, which operate under research institutions.

It was noted that according to the order of 11 January 2016 on the preparation of the generalized final report on the implementation of the State Program on the basis of information provided by the research departments, scientific institutions, departments and divisions of the Administration of the Presidium of ANAS, the relevant ministries and other government agencies, departments, which operate under research institutions was prepared and submitted to the Presidium.

Presidium took the decision to approve the report on the implementation of the National Strategy and submit it to the General Meeting of ANAS. It was also agreed to print a collection of reporting on the implementation of relevant government programs and send it to members of ANAS, academic offices, relevant ministries and other government agencies, and other governmental bodies attached to.
