The Central Scientific Library (CSL) of ANAS held the presentation of the personal library of a prominent orientalist, exploring Iran, Boris Zakhoder.

At the event, the library director, PhD in medicine Leyla Imanova noted that the Eastern Literature Foundation, which are stored for more than two thousand copies of the literature, there are a collection rich unique pieces that attract the attention of our Orientalists.

It was noted that having great historical significance of scientific and artistic works and unique copies foundation "Boris Zakhoder’s personal catalog of books", published in 1984, are of particular importance from the point of view of bringing to the readers of their meaning in the wider context.

Manager of Eastern Literature Foundation Aida Huseynova informed about the personal collection of a prominent orinetalist, exploring Iran - Boris Zakhoder, who is the author of 75 scientific papers, kept unique books, which are only in the country specimens are stored only in the CSL.

It was noted that the collection of B.Zakhoder embraces books in Russian as well. A.Huseynov stressed that rich scientific library also includes the world-famous monument of Turkic writing "Kudaktu-Bilik".

At the presentation ceremony it was also noted that personal collection is stored books devoted Eastern literature, history, philosophy and law in European languages.
