Institute of Archeology and Ethnography held meeting with German researcher Dr. Michael Reinhardt.

M.Reinhard’s visit to Azerbaijan is his interest to ancient, medieval and new era history of Karabakh. According to the guest, he is keen to publish a book in Germany dedicated to the history of Karabakh, especially, Albanian period and in this respect, he holds meeting with Azerbaijan scientists in order to enrich his scientific knowledge.

In a meeting the guest was informed by the Albany studier-scientists of the mentioned institute about rich ancient history of Karabakh, and detailed information on fact that Karabakh had been a territory of Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, was told that, Armenians, who moved to Karabakh since midst of the XIX century by Russian Empery, pursued privatizing policy of Azerbaijan monuments and claimed as if they had lived in this territory since ancient times.

M.Reinhardt stated that, as a sharp response against these false efforts he would objectively elucidate history of Karabakh in detail in a book.
