Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, is on a trip to Italy joint with the delegation led by him. The aim is to renewal and signing of cooperation of agreement between the Italian National Research Council and ANAS.

The agreement conducts joint research projects between the two institutions and organization of the workshops.

Delegation staff, which includes Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev and Academician-Secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences Acad. Fakhraddin Gadirov, firstly will hold meetings at the University of Milano-Biccoca, then attend the signing ceremony of the agreement at the Rome office of the Italian National Research Council.

During the trip, Academician Akif Alizadeh is going to deliver a lecture on prospects of cooperation between ANAS and the Italian National Research Council, including a report of studies, held within last 5 years.

The visit will last till June 26.
