Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute of Literature of ANAS was held.

The meeting was opened by Vice-president of ANAS, Director of the Institute, academician Isa Habibbayli, who gave information about the results of the 80th anniversary of the Institute. It was noted that during the anniversary event 10 employees of the institute were awarded honorary diplomas of the Presidium of ANAS, 17 - honorary diplomas Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation. The academician Isa Habibbeyli also gave information on other questions of the agenda, in particular, about the works which are carried out in connection with preparation of V, VI and VII volumes of the multi-volume set “History of the Azerbaijani Literature”.In discussions academician Isa Habibbayli, corresponding member of ANAS Teymur Karimli, doctor of philology Gazanfar Pashayev, Imamverdi Hamidov, Shirindil Alyshanly, Zaman Askerli , Vagif Yusifli, PhD in philology Esmira Shukurova and other put forward their proposals for books.
