Today, Central Scientific Library of ANAS hosted for opening ceremony “Turkic world: from Siberia to the Balkans” photo expo by celebrate turkologist Dr. History Gullu Yologhlu.

Under agreement signed by heads of Turkic states on establishment of Turkic Konsey in Nakhchivan 2009, every year October 3 is celebrated as a Day of Turkic States’ Union.

Later on, Turkologist Gullu Yologhlu briefed about the exhibition featuring 60 photos of traditions, welfare, and culture of Turkic nations during studies carried out in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russia, Iraq, Moldova, Romania, Macedonia, Iran, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Ambassador of Moldova in Azerbaijan George Luca, Associate Professor of the Baku State University Vugar Ziferoghlu, an associate of the Physics Institute of ANAS Yusif Afshar, edior-in-chief of the journal “Birlik” Ilgar Ilkin, Philosopher Asif Bayramov and others highlighted the significance of the photo expo.
