On October 12, ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after Muhammad Fuzuli held the scientific-theoretical conference on "Issues of the Research of multicultural written monuments - manuscripts".

At the event, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli noted that, the announcement by President Ilham Aliyev in Azerbaijan in 2016 "Year of multiculturalism" played a major role in drawing international attention to our republic.

It was noted that, V International Humanitarian Forum wich was held in Baku is a worthy contribution from this point of view. Today, Azerbaijan demonstrates to the world the highest sample of multiculturalism.

State Advisor of the Azerbaijan Republic on International Affairs on issues of multiculturalism and religion, Academician Kamal Abdullayev spoke about the tolerant environment in our country and historical roots multikulnyh values.

It was stressed that, the announcement of 2016 in Azerbaijan the "Year of multiculturalism" has put serious tasks before the men of science. Multiculturalism has rose to the level of state policy by President Ilham Aliyev. Multiculturalism as a basis for the scientific and theoretical thought has become a way of life in Azerbaijan, while in Europe it has crashed.

At the conference, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Gunduz Ismayilov, chairman of the Center of Culture of EgyptAhmed Sami Allied and others shared their views on the subject.
