Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On October 18, at the main building of ANAS, Institute of Economy hosted for scientific conference “Azerbaijan’s economy – 25: passed way and vision to the future” devoted to the 25th anniversary of state independence of Azerbaijan Republic.

At the event, director of the Institute of Economy, Professor Nazim Imanov spoke about development ways and achievements of Azerbaijan after removal of independence. He brought to mind that as a result of Ilham Aliyev’s successful internal and external policies, statehood traditions were reinforced, economy developed and culture has enriched.

Academician Ziyad Samadzadeh delivered a lecture on "Azerbaijan's economic development strategy: thoughts about the future", corresponding member of ANAS Shahbaz Muradov “Demographic state and employment in the years of independence: realities and problems", corresponding member of ANAS Ali Nuriyev "From a deep crisis to the comprehensive development”, corresponding member Akif Musayev "The main objective of the future: building post-oil economy" at the conference.
