Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Today, next assembly of ANAS Department of Agrarian Sciences (DAS) was held at the Presidium of ANAS.

Assembly with participation of bureau members was opened by academician – secretary of DAS acad. Garib Mammadov informed about the issues on the agenda.

Touched upon paper admission for “ANAS News” (agrarian series) and “Agrarian and ecological sciences” journals designed by Presidium of ANAS, G. Mammadov stated that, publication of these journals enables to elucidate results of agrarian researches, and to deliver theoretic, practical and technical outcomes of researches to the community.

besides Azerbaijani scientists, editorial staff of journals include Former Secretary-General of the International Society of Soil and Honorary President of the European Confederation of soil science societies, academic Emeritus Winfried Blum, president of European Confederation of Soil Societies (ECSSS) and the Italian Society of Soil (SISSA) academician Nikola Senesi, as well as notable scientists of Russia, Spain, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia.

Also, topics of doctor's degree and doctorate candidates for PhD training in 2014, were confirmed.
