Academic Council on Biological Problems of the Republican Council for Coordination of Scientific Research held a next meeting on October 27. Opening the meeting Deputy Chairman of the Council Academician Irada Huseynova informed on the issues of agenda.

Meeting held discussions on “Physical-chemical biology”, “Botany”, “Zoology” and “Human and animal physiology”. After discussions were issued thesis topics, including to the Academic Council.

At the end of the discussions, which held with the participation of graduates and the applicants, a research work in section “Physical-chemical biology” was approved with minor edition to the subject. Thesis topics of a doctor of sciences and 5 PhDs in section "Zoology", 4 PhDs in section "Botany", and a PhD in section "Physiology" have been approved. Some theses sent back for a retrial.

Corresponding members of ANAS Valida Alizadeh, Magsud Gurbanov, Ilham Alakbarov, Elshad Gurbanov, Doctors of Biological sciences – Ulduz Hashimova, Saftar Suleymanov, Zakariyya Mammadov, Sayyara Ibadullayeva, Mehman Akhundov, Janbakhish Najafov, Arif Mehdiyev, PhDs in Biology – Shahriyar Bayramov and Alamdar Mammadov were attending the meeting.
