Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS press organs –" Science" newspaper, popular scientific journal "Science and Life", the scientific and public journal "Collection of News of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences" have been accepted in ranks of Council of the press of Azerbaijan.

The resolution on it was taken at a meeting of the Board of the Press Council.

The appeal about inclusion in ranks of the Council was sent to the Office of Public Relations and Science Popularization of ANAS Presidium Administration. After the corresponding procedure all 3 press organs became members of Council.

Note that the "Science" newspaper, founded in 1984, is published twice a month in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. The newspaper published an interview with eminent scientific figures, articles covering a variety of activities and research.

The popular scientific journal "Science and Life", published since 1961, plays an important role in the promotion of scientific knowledge, promotion of domestic science and public incitement to scientific innovation. Published four times a year the journal has a 55-years of history.

The magazine covers the activity of ANAS, scientific achievements obtained in the priority areas of natural, technical, humanities and social sciences.

Established in 2014, scientific and social journal "Collection of news National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan" is published four times a year and acquaints the general readership with scientific and scientific-organizational activities which carried out in ANAS and relevant for the public at large.
