Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Within the 2nd Azerbaijan Science Festival, lectures were delivered on Medicine at the Training Surgery Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU).

Began with sounding of National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the event was opened by Pro-rector of AMU for educational affairs, Prof. Sabir Aliyev who spoke about state care to science and education in the country.

Pro-rector noted that, Science Festival is of great importance in terms of promoting Azerbaijan science in whole world. Festival brought to mind delegates of scientific venture and organizations of ANAS, several higher and secondary schools, including AMU.

Later on, representatives of the AMU and other educational ventures delivered lectures covering different topics.

At the event, were delivered lectures on following topics: "Adaptive T-cell immunotherapy in Hematology and Oncology", "Treatment of dental-jaw anomalies and on the expediency of applying low-frequency ultrasound for prevention of their complications”, "Prenatal risk factors of child cerebral palsy", "Extraction of biologically active substances and application for medical usage”, "Fractals theory and its application" etc. Lectures met with interest by attendees.

After discussion of lectures, questions were responded.
