Today, the Presidium of ANAS held a meeting with the president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs’ Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (CPA) Mammad Musayev.

President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, welcoming the guest, he said he was happy to see him in a scientific institution headed by him. Noting that today, as in the world, in Azerbaijan also requires large financial resources for the development of science, the scientist said that one of the main objectives is to study the experience with the coordination of science and business of ANAS.

Akif Alizadeh reported on the organization of scientific and innovation activities in a pilot plant of ANAS, he stressed the need for important activities in this area in the whole of ANAS. He noted that in connection with the coordination of activities related to science and business, it is necessary to organize a meeting at the Presidium of ANAS and to hold discussions with the relevant agencies.

The next speaker, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Mammad Musayev said that the steps taken by the country in the direction of business development are systematic and consistent. He said that relevant documents, decisions signed recently by the President of the country Ilham Aliyev are an indication of a great support to the development of entrepreneurship.

Noting that today in Azerbaijan there are about 600 thousand business entities, the guest said that of these, a total of 100 thousand are legal, and the remaining individuals. He said that the business activity engaged in officially registered structures.

Noting that 70-80 percent of gross domestic product in Azerbaijan falls on the share of the private sector, Musayev said that all these facts show that a new view of science is formed in the country.

He said that the structure headed by him is valid, the Commission of Science and Education, which cooperates with the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan. He talked about reaching out to about 20 scientific and educational institutions of the country, including the Institute of ANAS economy.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev expressed confidence that the establishment of relations of cooperation between the Confederation of Entrepreneurs and the Academy and the organization of joint projects will make an important contribution to the work of both structures. He also stressed the need for the organization of joint conferences with ANAS, the CPA and the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.

R.Alguliyev, noting that the country operates on the ICT Commission, brought to the attention of the audience that entrepreneurs in the field of information and communication technologies are here for the high-level activities and are looking for new technologies.

Head of the Administrative Office of the Presidium Administration of ANAS PhD in Political Science Fatali Abdullayev spoke about the importance of the study and application of the CPA opportunities. He brought to the attention of the establishment of pilot plant production equipment in ANAS and creation of modern laboratories, enabling the production of a limited number of lubricants that meet European and world standards. He said that the organization of the activities of all institutions and organizations of ANAS, in accordance with international requirements, including liaising with the CPA are of great importance in terms of the integration of science and business.

Finally, an extensive exchange of views, proposals were announced on the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two entities, the exchange of personnel and experience, as well as the study of the experience of the CPA on business.
