Today, National Museum of Azerbaijani History of ANAS held an exhibition "Women's clothing ornaments"

Speaking at the event, the museum's director, Academician Naila Velikhanli spoke about the ongoing research and achievements at the institution. It was noted that the exhibition brought materials on the ethnography museum, archeology and special funds. It demonstrates hats, buttons, collars and gloves, pins, belts, embroidery, knitted ornaments and other exhibits. Overall, there are more than 200 exhibits. Some of the exhibits belong to BC XIV-VII centuries, and the majority - XVIII-XX centuries. The exhibition of 20 mannequins demonstrates women's clothing, referring to the XIX century. Some of the rare exhibits have a connection with an outstanding poet of the XIX century - Khurshudbanu Natavan. It also presents clothing and shoes belonging to it. Most of the exhibits demonstrated for the first time.

The aim of the exhibition is the preservation and development of national-spiritual values of our people, the education of the younger generation, bringing foreign researchers to the ancient history of Azerbaijan.
