Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

“Islam enlightenment and modern era” International scientific conference co-organized by Caucasian Muslims Office and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in Baku on April 16-17, 2015.

Taking into account the scientific burden of academic-theological topics, their relevance and essence, and pursuant to the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, the book, embracing conference proceedings, was published.

Book of 632 pages compiles the addressing letter by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the attendees of international conference, speeches of ANAS President Academician Akif Alizadeh and Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh at the opening ceremony, including speeches of domestic and foreign scientists and theologians. The bulk also embraces lecture and speeches at the plenary sessions of the conference, attendees’ articles concerning the discussed issues. The bulk covering articles in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish languages is a precious source for specialists on relevant spheres.

Scientific-editor of the book is Vice-President Academician Isa Habibbeyli, responsible person for publication – Head of Public Relations and Science Popularization Office of Presidium Administration of ANAS Zulfugar Farzaliyev.
