Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Today, Central Scientific Library hosted an exhibition and award ceremony for the winners of drawings competition "Our national fauna with eyes of children", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of ANAS Institute of Zoology.

The exhibition, which presents works by young brush masters, was organized within the framework of joint cooperation of the Institute of Zoology and "Alphabet" Training Center.

At the event, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Zoology and Doctor of Biological Sciences Elshad Ahmadov spoke about the importance of such events in shaping the perception of the young generation to nature, promotion of our country, which has rich flora and fauna, brought to the attention of the importance of protecting the environment in times of climate change.

E.Ahmadov highly praised works presented in the exhibition-contest of young artists, stressed that, the Azerbaijani youth has great ability and talent.

Further in his speech, Director of the "Alphabet" Training Center Sevda Aliyeva thanked the leadership of the Institute of Zoology for the organization of the exhibition. She noted that, the exhibition presents 28 drawings of students.

After opening, guests watched the exhibition. They were provided with information about the exhibits reflecting the picturesque nature of Azerbaijan.

In conclusion, the authors of the works were awarded with gifts and certificates.
