The Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli of ANAS held the meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists dedicated to the February 2 - Youth Day.

Scientific secretary of the institute, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Azizaga Najafov noted that February 2 is celebrated as Youth Day on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev in 1996 and talked about the high public concern for the younger generation. He said that young scientists join the research in scientific and research institutions, and emphasized the role of youth in social and political life of ANAS.

Then the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Naila Mustafayeva informed about the activity of the structure headed by him in the past year.

Head of the Education Department of Institute, PhD in Philology Karimulla Mammadzade spoke about the education of the young generation to the ANAS and the work done in the direction of youth development. Noting that the youth plays an important role in the development of Azerbaijan, K.Mammadzade reported that in 2016 for the first time was carried admission to masters’ degree at the Institute of Manuscripts.

In conclusion, Director of the Institute, Academician Teymur Karimli, and Deputy Directors - Dr. Philology Aybeniz Aliyeva-Kangarli and Pasha Karimov congratulated the young scientists and specialists and wished them success in their future endeavors.
