General Director of ANAS Republican Seismic Survey Center, corresponding member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli held a press conference on "Seismic situation in Azerbaijan: the expected threats and risks"at "Sputnik Azerbaijan" the Center for Media and Press Portal on February 9, 2017.

At a press conference Gurban Yetirmishli respondent questions about earthquakes that occurred on the territory of Azerbaijan in 2016, the connection of mud volcanoes to earthquakes, the current state of the seismic background in the region, new seismic stations RSSC, some of the problems encountered during the installation of bottom stations.

The scientist also briefed in detail about the projects to be carried out in cooperation with foreign countries in April in Azerbaijan in the field of seismic risk assessment and conducting imaging.
